What You'll Do10
- 1Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across math and science subjects for grades 2 through 8.
- 2Incorporate educational technology and IT-integrated lessons to enhance student understanding and engagement.
- 3Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations including standardized testing preparation.
- 4Foster a positive classroom atmosphere with effective behavior management strategies tailored to diverse learning styles.
- 5Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development instructional design and best teaching practices.
- 6Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students from various cultural backgrounds and with special educational needs.
- 7Facilitate laboratory experiments dissections and research projects in biology microbiology biochemistry organic chemistry genetics molecular biology and related fields.
- 8Guide students in scientific research activities laboratory safety protocols and scientific writing or proofreading tasks.
- 9Support students academic advising and mentoring efforts to promote their overall growth and success.
- 10Maintain accurate records of student performance attendance and classroom activities in compliance with educational regulations.
Requirements12
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading teams in educational settings
- 3Bachelor’s degree in Education Mathematics Science or related fields
- 4Advanced degrees preferred
- 5Strong knowledge of mathematics topics such as algebra geometry trigonometry calculus differential equations discrete math and proofing techniques
- 6Extensive understanding of science disciplines including cell biology microbiology genetics biochemistry organic chemistry molecular biology laboratory experience dissection techniques and scientific research methods
- 7Proficiency in integrating learning technology into classroom instruction to support diverse learning styles
- 8Excellent classroom management skills with ability to work effectively with teenagers from varied backgrounds
- 9Experience with curriculum development and implementation aligned with educational standards
- 10Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and engagement with students families
- 11Familiarity with educational compliance requirements and standardized testing procedures
- 12Demonstrated ability to adapt lessons for students with special education needs or different learning preferences
