Overview

- 1Build and maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels across warehouses and nursing units
- 2Inspect shipments compare packing slips with purchase orders and report discrepancies
- 3Receive, unload, store, and distribute materials and equipment to requisitioning departments
- 4Prepare and process purchase orders at reorder points and coordinate with vendors for routine supplies
- 5Assist in shipping documentation and labeling of patient care equipment and supplies
- 6Support sanitation and cleanliness tasks in Food Service or related areas as applicable
- 7Identify and troubleshoot inventory issues and participate in quality and service improvement teams
- 8Maintain department records, reports, and files related to stock and supply usage
- 9Load and distribute supplies using distribution vehicles and equipment
- 10Remove outdated items and coordinate with central supply for reprocessing or disposition

- 1Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Experience: Less than 1 year and 6 months related experience required
- 3Experience with computerized inventory management systems preferred
- 4Basic math calculations and ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- 5Basic computer skills preferred
