Overview
Lead advanced esthetics education and supervise practical training for Master Esthetics program students. Ensure compliance with Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation and Virginia Board for Barbers and Cosmetology standards. Own curriculum delivery and maintain high standards of professional instruction.
What You'll Do11
- 1Deliver advanced esthetics education and supervise practical training for Master Esthetics program students
- 2Maintain active Master Esthetics Instructor License issued by DPOR and stay informed of regulatory updates
- 3Provide classroom instruction and hands-on training in advanced facial treatments chemical peels microdermabrasion lymphatic drainage advanced skin analysis and esthetic equipment usage
- 4Teach theoretical and practical components of master esthetics while demonstrating professional techniques and safety protocols
- 5Supervise students during practical and clinic activities ensuring proper performance of advanced esthetic procedures following sanitation and infection control standards
- 6Guide and mentor students to achieve required competencies through guidance and feedback
- 7Implement approved Master Esthetics curriculum and required clock hours as dictated by DPOR
- 8Assess student performance through written examinations practical evaluations and competency demonstrations while maintaining accurate records of attendance grades and practical hours
- 9Ensure all training activities comply with DPOR regulations and institutional policies while promoting adherence to professional standards
- 10Oversee proper use and maintenance of esthetics equipment verifying student safety when operating tools or performing advanced treatments
- 11Demonstrate professionalism ethical conduct and participate in professional development to enhance instructional effectiveness

- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading teams in professional training environments
- 3CPC Card certification recognized nationally
- 4BCBA credential preferred for advanced roles
- 5AWS Certified cloud computing expertise valued
- 65+ years developing and delivering technical curricula
- 73-5 years managing regulatory compliance programs
- 8AWS Certified solutions architect experience
- 95+ years implementing security best practices
- 103-5 seasons overseeing large-scale projects
