What You'll Do7

  • 1Evaluate client posture, pain patterns, and mobility to design a 60-90 minute treatment session focused on deep tissue release.
  • 2Deliver deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to resolve chronic tension and improve range of motion.
  • 3Document each session in the clinic's records, tracking client progress and adjusting techniques based on feedback.
  • 4Educate clients on self-care routines, including foam rolling, stretching, and hydration to prolong treatment benefits.
  • 5Uphold a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment space, ensuring all linens and equipment meet hygiene standards.
  • 6Collaborate with local healthcare providers, such as chiropractors and physical therapists, to support integrated client care.
  • 7Track client retention and satisfaction, refining your approach to exceed outcomes in a solo practice environment.

Requirements6

  • 12+ years of professional massage experience, with a verifiable track record of client satisfaction.
  • 2Certification in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy from an accredited program.
  • 3Solid knowledge of anatomy and physiology, with applied skill in pain management techniques.
  • 4Experience working solo in a spa or clinical setting, managing the full client journey from intake to checkout.
  • 5Current state massage therapy license in Pennsylvania, with liability insurance.
  • 6Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and tailor sessions to individual needs.
