You will own the massage therapy practice at a busy Chicago chiropractic office, delivering deep tissue and medical massage to patients with specific conditions. Working alongside three doctors and a full-service staff, you will tailor each session to patient needs, manage your schedule, and maintain a clean, empathetic environment. What You'll Do7
- 1Perform deep tissue and medical massage for patients with medical conditions, coordinating with chiropractors on care plans
- 2Apply prenatal massage techniques to support expecting mothers
- 3Communicate with clients to assess needs and tailor each treatment, adjusting pressure and focus areas
- 4Coordinate appointment schedules and deliver sessions on time, balancing client load
- 5Maintain sanitation and hygiene standards for the therapy room and all equipment after each use
- 6Offer empathetic support to patients, addressing physical and emotional well-being during sessions
- 7Document treatment notes and update patient records in the clinic system
Requirements8
- 1Active massage therapy license in Illinois
- 2Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques
- 3Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
