Overview

You will own the creation and polish of technical marketing content for semiconductor products at Monolithic Power Systems, a global leader in power semiconductors. Your work spans datasheets, application notes, website copy, and articles for top industry publications. You will collaborate with an experienced team across worldwide offices, and your writing will reach a broad audience of engineers and decision-makers. This is a 6-month temporary role with potential to extend or convert to permanent.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Edit and write technical documents like datasheets, application notes, and reference designs to semiconductor industry standards.
  • 2Write and edit articles for top industry publications, plus support creation of marketing materials such as event collateral, website copy, email newsletters, and video scripts.
  • 3Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • 4Prioritize editorial projects and negotiate deadlines with stakeholders across departments.
  • 5Act as primary keeper of our brand voice, overseeing tone, messaging, and alignment on every initiative.
  • 6Support the marketing content lifecycle from intake to publication using project management tools like SharePoint to manage reviews and feedback.
  • 7Conduct interviews with engineers and product managers to gather technical details for content.
  • 8Update internal documentation templates and processes, including datasheets, application notes, and PowerPoint decks.

Requirements6

  • 1BA/BS preferably in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2Technical writing experience strongly preferred; electronics engineering background a plus.
  • 3Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • 4Proven ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines, working independently and collaboratively.
  • 5Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • 6Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
