As the Sr. Marketing Content Specialist, you will own the creation of high-stakes executive presentations, translating complex enterprise technology into compelling narratives for keynotes and major events. You'll partner directly with leadership, product, and engineering teams to craft visually stunning slides that resonate with C-level audiences. This role demands a rare blend of technical curiosity and executive presence, offering the chance to shape how the company communicates its strategic vision. Reporting to the marketing leadership, you'll manage a pipeline of high-priority projects and coach executives on delivery. The role is onsite in Raleigh, NC, and requires a background in enterprise tech or strategic marketing.
What You'll Do9
- 1Own the end-to-end creation of executive presentations, transforming PowerPoint drafts into clear, visual stories for keynotes and industry events.
- 2Research target market segments like mainframe, cloud integration, and AI to craft audience-specific messaging that builds credibility.
- 3Interview SMEs and engineers to extract technical data and architecture, distilling jargon into simple, impactful slides.
- 4Coach executive presenters on narrative flow, speaking notes, and stage presence to deliver polished keynotes.
- 5Manage a pipeline of 5-10 concurrent presentation projects, meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
- 6Ensure all slide designs, messaging, and tone align with brand guidelines and strategic vision.
- 7Collaborate with product managers to map product roadmaps into compelling storylines for internal and external events.
- 8Adapt messaging for diverse audiences, from enterprise IT leaders to technical engineers, ensuring relevance and accuracy.
- 9Deliver final slide decks with visual hierarchy and typography that allow quick comprehension at a glance.
Requirements8
- 112+ years in executive communications, corporate storytelling, or strategic marketing within enterprise tech (mainframe, SaaS, cloud, AI, cyber, infrastructure).
- 2Bachelors in Engineering with 12+ years experience, or Masters with 10+ years, or PhD with 7+ years.
- 3Exceptional writing and messaging skills, with a proven ability to structure presentations (hook, problem, solution, payoff).
- 4Advanced mastery of PowerPoint, including layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- 5Strong research and interviewing skills to engage with technical experts and simplify complex concepts.
- 6High emotional intelligence, with diplomacy to give constructive feedback to senior executives.
- 7Proven time management for handling multiple projects and last-minute edits calmly.
- 8Experience with enterprise IT or mainframe systems is highly desirable.
