Overview
You will own manufacturing floor support and equipment maintenance at MKS Inc. Boston. This role reports to the Equipment Services Manager and impacts production through preventative maintenance and inventory management. Responsibilities include managing lab inventory analyzing part storage and shipping critical spares. The position requires hands-on technical expertise and collaboration across multiple sites.
What You'll Do9
- 1Respond to unscheduled equipment issues and perform preventative maintenance tasks
- 2Work from schematics and diagrams to validate and troubleshoot functions
- 3Assist in determining methods to remedy equipment malfunctions and pm requirements
- 4Manage lab and critical spare parts inventory across multiple MKS locations
- 5Analyze part storage to identify automation and improvement opportunities
- 6Ship and receive parts for equipment builds and critical spares
- 7Support production printer management and implement pm processes
- 8Maintain accurate databases and analyze records for improvement opportunities
- 9Travel minimally while overseeing inventory and maintenance activities
Requirements5
- 1AA degree or equivalent vocational training with 2+ years parts management experience
- 2Technician background assisting with repair and maintenance tasks
- 3Ability to collect and analyze basic experimental data using ms office applications
- 4Physical ability to lift 50 lbs
- 5Experience with ms excel word outlook and inventory database systems
