
Manufacturing Engineer, NPI & Fixture Design
Overview
You will own the transition of new products from engineering to production at Winsnow, Inc., driving fixture design and test method development. You will act as the bridge between design and operations, ensuring manufacturability and process reliability. This role offers hands-on involvement in full NPI cycles with direct impact on product quality and launch speed.
What You'll Do8
- 1Support the NPI process to transition new products into manufacturing.
- 2Design and build fixtures for sub-component testing.
- 3Develop and implement operational methods for sub-assembly manufacturing.
- 4Participate in continuous improvement and 8D problem solving.
- 5Support internal and external quality processes.
- 6Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
- 7Validate and document manufacturing processes.
- 8Drive root cause analysis for process failures.
Requirements8
- 12+ years in manufacturing engineering or technician role.
- 2Hands-on experience with fixture design and fabrication.
- 3Knowledge of NPI and 8D methodologies.
- 4Familiarity with quality standards and inspection tools.
- 5Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- 6Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks or AutoCAD).
- 7Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- 8Ability to work onsite in Wilmington, MA.
