Overview

You will lead manufacturing and industrialization for NPI projects from early development to production release at Eaton's Power Components Division. You will drive process development, validation, and implementation, ensuring product launches meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets. What You'll Do9

  • 1Lead industrialization for NPI and PLS projects from development to production release.
  • 2Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) and testability (DFT) input to optimize cost and quality.
  • 3Implement Industry 4.0 practices for manufacturing in new product introductions.
  • 4Specify and procure tooling, test equipment, fixtures, and capital assets.
  • 5Lead prototype and pilot builds, validating products and processes against requirements.
  • 6Develop process controls, work instructions, and operator training for production.
  • 7Analyze early product data using DFSS, Six Sigma, and Lean methods to improve yield.
  • 8Manage product costs and capital forecasts, supporting cost reduction and continuous improvement.
  • 9Mentor engineers to strengthen industrialization capabilities.

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 25+ years in engineering, including manufacturing experience.
  • 3US work authorization without sponsorship now or future.
  • 4Preferred: degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
  • 5Experience developing production tooling and test fixtures.
  • 6Experience with shop floor control systems for traceability and data collection.
  • 7Experience leading NPI and industrialization activities.
  • 8Working knowledge of quality tools: process capability studies, gage R&Rs, yield analysis.
  • 9Knowledge of Six Sigma, VA/VE, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • 10Working knowledge of components, tooling, schematics, and bills of materials.
