What You'll Do11
- 1Set up and calibrate manual lathe equipment to meet production standards
- 2Adjust tooling and parameters to correct nonconforming outputs
- 3Report operational issues affecting quality or quantity to supervisors
- 4Conduct daily maintenance checks on tools and machinery
- 5Perform dimensional inspections and 1st article verification
- 6Segregate and manage scrap material according to protocols
- 7Operate material handling equipment for efficient material flow
- 8Use measurement tools such as micrometers and bore gauges accurately
- 9Follow 5S practices and support lean manufacturing efforts
- 10Train operators on job procedures and safety standards
- 11Meet cycle time targets for assigned part numbers
Requirements10
- 12+ years experience operating manual engine lathe
- 2High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- 4Proficiency with ISO manufacturing procedures
- 5Basic computer operation and math skills
- 6Ability to lift 30 pounds
