Lead a team of wealth professionals to drive revenue growth and deliver top-tier service to clients at Busey Bank. This role also builds community partnerships and enhances brand presence across the Dallas market.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Drive new business development in the Dallas market, leading the Wealth Advisory team to achieve revenue targets and deliver first-class wealth management services.
  • 2Create and implement a sustainable new business development program focused on significant organic growth using a team-based approach.
  • 3Review team proposals and presentations for new business opportunities, ensuring quality and alignment with client goals.
  • 4Oversee team delivery of wealth management services and solutions to ensure service excellence and long-term client retention.
  • 5Develop and coach team members to expand their knowledge base and relationship management skills, maximizing value and service delivery.
  • 6Coordinate with internal partners to identify new opportunities and expand wallet share with the existing client base, collaborating across lines of business.
  • 7Stimulate tailored, goal-based investment programs and comprehensive financial plans for clients, partnering with the in-house investment and financial planning teams.
  • 8Plan and implement client recognition and prospecting events to strengthen relationships and generate new leads.
  • 9Participate in community activities and organizations to build awareness of the Busey Wealth Management brand and support local partnerships.
  • 10Comply with all bank and wealth management policies and regulations; conduct risk analysis on the assigned book of business to increase retention and identify new opportunities.

Requirements8

  • 17+ years experience in Wealth Management or financial advisory roles.
  • 23+ years leading a private wealth advisory team preferred.
  • 3Bachelor's degree in a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 4Professional designations such as CFP, CFA, CPA, or CTFA preferred.
  • 5Strong sales track record with expertise in prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling, and closing.
  • 6Deep knowledge of investments, banking, trust administration, financial planning, estate planning, retirement planning, insurance, and tax.
  • 7Ability to make strategic and independent decisions, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • 8Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
