What You'll Do11
- 1Lead teams and/or work efforts for strategic consulting engagements for investor-owned utilities and energy providers from problem definition through solution design and implementation
- 2Develop client-ready insights through market research data analysis and financial modeling
- 3Drive client impact in decarbonization strategy grid modernization and digital operations
- 4Manage project teams ensuring high-quality deliverables and on-time execution
- 5Support business development by contributing to proposals and client pitches
- 6Collaborate across practice areas to integrate strategy technology and operations
- 7Mentor junior consultants fostering learning inclusion and excellence
- 8Navigate NERC/CIP regulatory environments and cybersecurity program support
- 9Structure problem-solving efforts and communicate findings to senior stakeholders
- 10Deliver complex projects with account sales involvement
- 11Maintain proficiency in PowerPoint Excel and data visualization tools
Requirements10
- 1US Citizen or Permanent Resident status required
- 2Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years post-graduation experience in management consulting or related field focusing on energy utilities
- 3Master's degree plus 3+ years experience in same area with energy utilities specialization
- 4Strong understanding of utility business models and regulatory frameworks
- 5Proven experience in grid modernization electric power utilities technology integration AI/ML modernization solutions T&D operations infrastructure resilience
- 6Demonstrated ability to manage teams and deliver complex projects
- 7Experience with transmission distribution projects and cybersecurity program support
- 8Ability to travel hybrid client-facing environment
- 9Willingness to work in Guidehouse office or client locations
- 10Relevant certifications including CPC Card BCBA AWS Certified
