We seek a Maintenance Technician to lead daily operations at the Crowne Plaza KC Downtown ensuring clean safe environments and guest satisfaction. You will oversee maintenance teams manage budgets and coordinate with senior leadership to maintain high standards across all hotel systems.
What You'll Do9
- 1Own and execute preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical systems
- 2Supervise technicians and contractors while conducting performance reviews
- 3Process maintenance requests promptly and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- 4Develop annual operating budgets and capital plans for the maintenance department
- 5Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to propose cost effective building improvements
- 6Maintain accurate records of power water and fuel consumption
- 7Ensure adherence to all company policies and legal requirements
- 8Train new hires and foster a team driven culture focused on service excellence
- 9Implement equipment repair protocols and manage vendor relationships
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in hospitality maintenance
- 2Proficiency with Spark Airflow and similar automation tools
- 3Certified in building code compliance and OSHA standards
- 4Experience managing budgets and controlling departmental expenses
- 5Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems
- 6Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
- 7Excellent communication skills for guest interactions and staff coordination
- 8Basic computer literacy and mathematical abilities for reporting and analysis
- 9Familiarity with federal state and local labor laws and equal employment practices
