Maintenance Person, Restaurant Equipment & Cleanliness
Overview
You will own the interior and exterior cleanliness of a high-volume McDonald's restaurant, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Working with the Maintenance Team, you'll handle daily oil filtration, equipment upkeep, and grounds maintenance. This role offers 15-25 days paid vacation, 10 paid holidays, and a 8-week sabbatical every 10 years. You'll also gain access to Archways to Opportunity education programs, including college tuition assistance and English classes.
What You'll Do8
- 1Filter oil fryers daily to maintain food quality and equipment longevity.
- 2Clean equipment, windows, stock rooms, and restrooms to health code standards.
- 3Unload delivery truck 2 times per week and organize stock.
- 4Empty trash compactor and take out trash regularly.
- 5Change light bulbs and perform minor electrical repairs.
- 6Clean HVAC units and exhaust systems, and remove roof debris.
- 7Maintain outside grounds including parking lot and landscaping.
- 8Assist management with preventive maintenance tasks and inspections.
Requirements8
- 11+ years of maintenance or janitorial experience in a commercial setting.
- 2Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- 3Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- 4Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 5Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- 6Ability to follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals safely.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 8Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
