Overview

MacLean-Fogg hires a Maintenance Mechanic at Plymouth, Michigan facility. Responsible for troubleshooting repairing and performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment while supporting equipment reliability safety and manufacturing performance. What You'll Do6

  • 1Use hand tools power tools precision measuring equipment and testing instruments to repair and maintain manufacturing machinery.
  • 2Perform routine and preventive maintenance ranging from basic service to complex equipment repairs.
  • 3Diagnose equipment breakdowns troubleshoot mechanical problems and complete repairs to restore reliable operation.
  • 4Follow diagrams blueprints sketches operating manuals and manufacturer specifications to address complex mechanical issues and escalate problems requiring additional technical support.
  • 5Provide leadership coaching and mentoring to team members as needed.
  • 6Follow safety environmental and quality policies including LockoutTagout requirements.

Requirements7

  • 1High school diploma.
  • 2Typically 5+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • 3Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems including electrical hydraulic and fluid dynamics applications.
  • 4Proficiency in equipment monitoring troubleshooting maintenance and repair.
  • 5Working knowledge of hand tools calibration numerical control and LockoutTagout practices.
  • 6Ability to work independently complete assigned work with limited supervision and interpret work instructions accurately.
  • 7Repeated lifting of up to 50 pounds standing for extended periods pushing and pulling objects up to 50 pounds frequent bending and stooping manual dexterity to handle small objects working in confined spaces and from elevated platforms.
