Machine Set-up Operator Shift Monday - Thursday 730 AM to 430 PM Friday 730 AM to 1100 AM Location Lake Forest IL Pay $20.00 per hour
What You'll Do12
- 1Set up and operate automated wire cutting and terminating machines
- 2Produce parts according to customer specifications
- 3Perform visual inspections to verify wire gauge color terminals cut lengths stripping specifications
- 4Bundle and package completed products according to work instructions
- 5Prepare leads during the cutting and terminating process
- 6Interpret and follow written work orders and production instructions
- 7Pull raw materials from inventory and return unused materials to their proper locations
- 8Deliver finished products to the appropriate departments
- 9Maintain a clean and organized work area
- 10Follow production schedules and quality standards
- 11Cross-train and assist in other production departments as needed
- 12Recommend ideas to improve production efficiency and workplace organization
Requirements9
- 1Resume interview authorization to work in the US
- 2Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- 3Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn automated machinery
- 4Ability to read and follow written work instructions
- 5Basic math skills addition subtraction multiplication division
- 6Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- 7Good communication skills
- 8Physical requirement ability to stand walk for extended periods frequently use hands operate equipment occasionally bend kneel crouch crawl lift up to 25 pounds regularly
- 9Ability to distinguish colors and perform detailed visual inspections
