Machine Repair Project Manager, Stamping Press & Industrial Maintenance
Overview
You will own industrial machine repair and stamping press projects across the region from an office base in Grand Blanc, MI, directing teams of 10 to 30 field personnel. You coordinate with operations, estimating, and customers to deliver safe, on-schedule work for large manufacturing clients. What You'll Do9
- 1Manage machine repair and industrial maintenance projects from kickoff through completion, owning schedule, budget, and quality.
- 2Lead and coordinate project teams of 10 to 30 employees, assigning tasks and tracking progress daily.
- 3Schedule labor, equipment, and materials to meet project deadlines without compromising safety or quality.
- 4Collaborate with operations, estimating, and customers to align expectations and resolve issues proactively.
- 5Conduct site visits one to two times per month to monitor progress and support field teams on complex repairs.
- 6Develop project estimates and customer proposals, applying training in estimating and bidding processes.
- 7Track project budgets and schedules, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders.
- 8Enforce safety policies and regulatory compliance on every project, maintaining a zero-incident mindset.
- 9Uphold quality standards for stamping press and industrial machinery repairs across all sites.
Requirements8
- 17+ years of stamping press repair experience in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.
- 2Hands-on expertise with machine repair, industrial maintenance, and heavy equipment.
- 3Proven leadership of field teams ranging from 10 to 30 employees, including scheduling and task delegation.
- 4Strong communication skills to coordinate with operations, estimating, and customer representatives.
- 5Valid driver's license with an acceptable MVR required for site travel.
- 6Familiarity with industrial machinery, safety protocols, and maintenance best practices.
- 7Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and schedule.
- 8Comfort with occasional site visits and flexibility to travel across Michigan.
