Machine Operator Blow Mold - Phoenix AZ
Overview
You will operate blow-mold, grinder, trimmer, and conveyor systems to produce one-gallon plastic milk jugs and containers. Your focus is hitting quality and safety targets while troubleshooting process problems and performing minor repairs. You'll work across 3 shifts with shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts. This contract-to-hire role offers a path to direct employment with Aerotek.
What You'll Do7
- 1Operate blow-mold machines (wheel, reciprocating, shuttle) to produce quality bottles and perform audits, weights, and quality checks.
- 2Troubleshoot and repair blow-mold and support equipment, making adjustments to meet product specs.
- 3Perform preventive maintenance including mold, neck, and blow pin changes.
- 4Grind excess bottle material and manage regrind processes.
- 5Document equipment repairs and maintenance request forms.
- 6Prepare daily production reports tracking rejects, regrinds, and line efficiencies.
- 7Enforce safety standards and regulations across your shift.
Requirements6
- 1Experience operating blow-mold or plastic molding machinery.
- 2Comfortable working around manufacturing machinery like forklifts and conveyors.
- 3Strong troubleshooting and minor maintenance skills.

- 5Previous machine operating experience preferred.

Salary Insight
