Overview
The LPN Technician leads direct nursing care for residents at Bear Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation. This full-time position requires managing day-to-day nursing activities while ensuring compliance with federal and state standards. Responsibilities include supervising nursing assistants, maintaining documentation, and participating in facility quality programs.
What You'll Do11
- 1Direct daily nursing activities for nursing assistants

- 3Supervise staff and address attendance issues
- 4Prepare and administer medications following protocols
- 5Maintain accurate resident records and reports
- 6Coordinate with physicians and external agencies
- 7Participate in facility surveys and quality assessments
- 8Manage resident admission transfers and discharge processes
- 9Report incidents and maintain confidentiality
- 10Conduct daily unit rounds and problem identification
- 11Provide leadership and support to nursing personnel
Requirements11
- 1Current active LPN or LVN license in Texas
- 2Minimum 5+ years experience in nursing care
- 3Proficiency with AWS and Kubernetes platforms
- 4Certified in CPC Card or BCBA
- 5Strong communication and documentation skills
- 6Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- 7Experience with electronic health records and EMR systems
- 8Knowledge of healthcare regulations and documentation standards
- 9Physical stamina to lift 25 pounds over 50 feet
- 10Familiarity with incident reporting and risk management
- 11Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
