What You'll Do9
- 1Conduct comprehensive assessments of inmate physical psychological and social needs
- 2Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using diagnostic resources and consultations
- 3Administer medications following established protocols including IV therapy when qualified
- 4Perform EKGs and collect body fluids using proper medical techniques
- 5Manage controlled substances and medical equipment while documenting all procedures
- 6Triaging urgent healthcare requests and coordinating care with providers
- 7Provide nutritional support through therapeutic diets as directed by physicians
- 8Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- 9Collaborate with correctional staff to ensure safe facility operations
Requirements5
- 1Graduate from an accredited LPN program with current state licensure
- 2Demonstrate proficiency with medical software and equipment
- 3Hold valid CPR and BLS certifications along with recent TB testing
- 4Possess strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
- 5Maintain physical stamina to navigate facility while performing diverse tasks
