Overview
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports patient care under RN supervision. This role owns admission processes and medication administration while assisting with daily living activities. What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with admission and check-in including patient orientation and form completion
- 2Prepare and administer medications within scope and track specimen collection
- 3Document patient care updates and coordinate care plans promptly
- 4Communicate patient status changes to RN physicians and licensed practitioners
- 5Provide patient education on health management and disease maintenance
- 6Follow legal and ethical standards while engaging in quality improvement projects
- 7Mentor staff when required and maintain accurate records
- 8Operate monitoring equipment and identify supplies in clinical settings
- 9Transport patients using gurneys and navigate busy hospital environments
- 10Stand for extended periods and lift items up to heavy weights
- 11Drive a vehicle while adhering to traffic regulations
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire
- 3Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) required if applicable
- 4Colorado sites need current IV certification within three months of hire
- 5Montana sites require in-house training completion within three months
- 6One year LPN experience in clinic or acute hospital setting preferred
- 7One year specialty clinic experience preferred
- 8Physical ability to see read labels operate monitors and handle delicate equipment
- 9Manual dexterity for precise hand movements and computer use
- 10Ability to lift and transport patients of varying weights
- 11Willingness to stand and move throughout the workday
