Lot Attendant - Chevrolet Dealership Baltimore
Overview
As a Lot Attendant at Bob Bell Chevrolet, you will own vehicle movement, parking, and facility appearance across our Baltimore dealership. Working with a family-owned automotive group, you will ensure a clean, organized lot and showroom that reflects our award-winning service. This role is critical to daily operations, with direct impact on customer experience and workflow. What You'll Do8
- 1Move customer vehicles to direct traffic flow and ensure a smooth operation through the service drive and lot.
- 2Maintain an orderly service parking area, vehicle display, shop, and showroom to uphold dealership standards.
- 3Wash, wax, and buff vehicle exteriors; clean interiors, including windows, vacuuming, and scrubbing surfaces.
- 4Apply tire dressing and use specialty cleaners to keep vehicles showroom-ready.
- 5Compare vehicle serial numbers against invoices and inspect for damage, verifying accessories and recording findings on delivery receipts.
- 6Park new vehicles in designated areas and catalog keys for easy retrieval.
- 7Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department and service stored vehicles to protect tires, batteries, and finishes.
- 8Support other duties as assigned to keep the dealership running efficiently.
Requirements9
- 1Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- 2Ability to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
- 3Friendly and customer-service focused with a professional appearance.
- 4Proven multitasking and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
- 5Basic computer knowledge for logging and inventory tasks.
- 6Customer service experience preferred.
- 7Physical stamina to bend, kneel, walk, or stand for extended periods in all weather.
