What You'll Do7
- 1Transport freight between railyards and customer facilities using Class A tractor-trailers.
- 2Handle drop and hook trailers with 55% of stops, minimizing wait times.
- 3Manage detention, live load/unload, and driver assist tasks with $20 - $30 hourly pay.
- 4Navigate NYC congestion with access to congestion pay and George Washington Bridge toll compensation.
- 5Complete daily home time routes while meeting on-time delivery windows.
- 6Use J.B. Hunt's driver app for load assignments and electronic logging.
- 7Ensure hazmat loads are secured and compliant with 40+ endorsements.
Requirements6
- 1Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with 3+ months of trucking experience.
- 23-5 years of safe driving record with no major violations.
- 3Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform pre-trip inspections.
- 4Comfortable with manual transmission and reefer units.
- 5Willing to complete paid online orientation and safety training
- 6Must pass drug screen and background check.
