You will own prep and line cooking for our Gluten-Free accredited senior living community, serving scratch-made meals to 100+ residents daily. You join a tight-knit culinary team that prioritizes creativity, quality, and work-life balance. We are the only fully Gluten-Free accredited senior housing community in the U.S., so you will master specialized prep techniques. What You'll Do7
- 1Prep and cook from scratch using fresh, local ingredients for resident meals.
- 2Execute line station duties during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
- 3Maintain strict Gluten-Free protocols in all food handling and preparation.
- 4Collaborate with culinary team to plan and adjust menus based on seasonal availability.
- 5Own food safety and sanitation standards in your station, including proper labeling and storage.
- 6Assist with inventory rotation and storage to minimize waste.
- 7Respond to resident dietary needs with accuracy and care.
Requirements6
- 11+ years line or prep cooking experience, ideally in scratch kitchens.
- 2Proven ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- 3Passion for fresh, wholesome, and flavorful food.
- 4Eagerness to learn Gluten-Free cooking techniques and protocols.
- 5Team-player mindset with a love for serving others.
- 6Must pass background check and reference check.
