What You'll Do11
- 1Administer and document medications and therapeutic treatments prescribed for residents
- 2Provide immediate attention to ensure resident comfort and safety
- 3Notify chain of command about changes in resident condition
- 4Supervise Nursing Assistants and ensure protocol compliance
- 5Participate in developing and implementing resident care policies
- 6Maintain clean and orderly living environment
- 7Complete MDS documentation and process orders within professional scope
- 8Review and update Resident Care Plans based on current conditions
- 9Collaborate with physicians and other departments for comprehensive resident care
- 10Enter accurate information in electronic health records
- 11Report incidents of resident abuse to appropriate authorities
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- 3Current Pennsylvania Practical Nurse license
- 4Essential duties must be performed satisfactorily
- 5Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting
