Morgenstern Law Group seeks an experienced Legal Secretary to support attorneys in a professional law firm. The ideal candidate excels in insurance defense or civil litigation and thrives in a collaborative environment with proactive communication.
What You'll Do12
- 1Provide administrative support to 2–3 attorneys managing calendars and scheduling court appearances depositions and client meetings
- 2Draft proofread and file legal documents including pleadings motions discovery responses and deposition notices
- 3Handle state and federal e-filing adhering to California court rules and deadlines
- 4Assist with discovery coordination law and motion practice and trial preparation assembling exhibits and coordinating logistics
- 5Communicate professionally with clients insurance carriers courts and opposing counsel
- 6Organize and maintain case files ensuring accuracy and accessibility
- 7Support general firm operations and administrative tasks as needed
- 8Demonstrate strong knowledge of legal terminology court procedures and document preparation
- 9Show proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Clio case management software
- 10Maintain exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- 11Manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently
- 12Thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment

- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading legal secretaries in insurance defense or civil litigation
- 3California court rules and procedures
