Legal Product Champion, AI Legal Services

You will own the entire client journey from first conversation to live workflows, driving AI adoption at law firms and legal teams. You'll work directly with founders, collaborate across product and engineering, and shape the go-to-market playbook. This role blends growth, strategy, and deployment for a lean, in-person NYC startup. You'll see your work directly change how a profession operates.

You will own AI deployment for legal firm clients, driving adoption from discovery to go-live. You embed with law firms, map workflows, and build proofs-of-concept. You report to the head of client success, joining a lean in-person NYC team. This role blends consulting, product feedback, and hands-on automation. You help write the playbook for legal AI transformation.

You will own the full client motion from first conversation to live workflows at August, building the autopilot for legal services. You'll work directly with founders, spanning sales, customer success, and go-to-market, and shape the playbook for expansion across India. This role sits at the intersection of growth, strategy, and deployment, where you'll drive adoption of AI agents inside law firms and legal teams. You'll thrive in ambiguity, navigate complex stakeholders, and see your work transform how legal work is bought and delivered.

You will own the operating spine of August as we scale, turning strategic priorities into shipped systems and building the partnerships channel from the ground up. Reporting directly to the founders, you will take ambiguous priorities, decide what to do about them, and own the outcome. You will build the operating cadence, close commercial partnerships with integration and distribution partners, and run two-week strategic sprints on the highest-leverage projects. This role combines high-impact strategy with hands-on execution in a lean, in-person NYC startup. You will work with AI tools daily to build automations and agents, and your work will directly shape the future of legal services.

You will own end-to-end deployments of August, an AI-native legal services platform, into production at mid-market law firms. You will architect integrations, write code, and drive cutovers to stable operation. You will join a lean, in-person team in New York City backed by leading investors, working on the frontier of applied AI for legal work. This role offers founding impact and uncapped upside as we scale.

Own the core product build for a seed-stage legal AI company, shaping the platform from first principles. You will collaborate daily with licensed attorneys and AI engineers to ship contract review and negotiation software. This role sets engineering culture and standards for the team, with direct impact on daily customer workflows. It stands apart by combining legal services, AI agents, and B2B SaaS into a single product.
