Legal Engagement Manager, AI for Law Firms
Overview
You will own client delivery for Centari's AI-powered contract intelligence platform, managing 5+ simultaneous engagements with AmLaw 100 firms. You bridge our technology with senior legal executives, translating complex needs into actionable requirements. Join a Series A startup backed by top investors, where you'll build the operational infrastructure from scratch. This role puts you face-to-face with partners at the world's most prestigious law firms, driving real ROI from day one.
What You'll Do5
- 1Own every active engagement, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery with the client fully informed at all times.
- 2Build the operational infrastructure: workflows, templates, and tracking systems that scale our implementation team without chaos.
- 3Track portfolio health metrics: on-time deliveries, client satisfaction, open requests, and escalations, and report on them weekly.
- 4Translate client needs into specific, prioritized, and actionable requirements for our Applied Legal Research team.
- 5Prepare and run quarterly business reviews that document ROI and support expansion conversations.
Requirements7
- 15+ years in project management, client engagement, or operations in enterprise software or professional services.
- 2Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects end to end without a clear path at the start.
- 3Worked at an early-stage company where you built processes from scratch, with a concrete example of something you created that held up.
- 4Managed multiple concurrent client workstreams under competing priorities and delivered on time without sacrificing quality.
- 5Strong executive-level communication to run meetings with key stakeholders and write crisp status updates.
- 6Based in NYC or willing to relocate.
- 7Familiarity with law firm hierarchy, workflows, and senior attorney priorities is preferred.
