Overview
Design and lead the technical direction for building systems supporting Cisco's FedRAMP Moderate environment. Ensure scalability reliability and compliance for federal and defense customers. Drive architecture and implementation of secure build and deploy systems. Lead cross-functional collaboration to meet high impact projects.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own the architecture and technical direction for build and deploy systems meeting FedRAMP High and IL5 requirements focusing on scalability availability and developer experience
- 2Translate security and compliance requirements into implementation covering access control audit logging secret management vulnerability response and evidence collection
- 3Collaborate with product engineering teams to monitor and maintain build health and accuracy
- 4Work closely with SRE team to ensure scalability and availability of build systems
- 5Prevent predict and respond to issues coordinating triage and remediation across product teams
- 6Lead by example through production code design reviews code reviews mentoring debugging and operational improvements
- 7Minimum Bachelor's degree with 8 years experience in development build and release engineering or Computer Science or Master's degree with additional related experience or PhD with similar background
- 8Experience with modular build deploy systems and source control tools like Jenkins GitLab TeamCity GitHub Buildkite CircleCI and RWX
- 9Proficiency with containers using AWS Artifactory Docker and Kubernetes
- 10Expertise with JavaScript TypeScript and React toolchains and pipelines
- 11Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and RSpec pipelines

- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Experience with AWS Artifactory Docker and Kubernetes
- 3Knowledge of Elastic Stack Grafana for data collection parsing and visualization
- 4Background in FedRAMP Moderate High or DoD IL4 IL5 FISMA GovRAMP or similar regulated environments
- 5Understanding of database maintenance and migrations in production environments
- 6Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Rspec Jest Cypress
- 7Leadership in technical projects or providing technical direction across a team
- 8Certification such as CPC Card BCBA or AWS Certified
