Lead Salesforce Developer/Architect, Remote Hybrid Contract
Overview
You will own the end-to-end technical design of the Sales Cloud ecosystem for a direct client in Columbus, OH, on a long-term contract basis. Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership, you will translate requirements into robust architectural designs that ensure long-term stability. This 100% remote or hybrid role offers flexibility, with in-person interviews for hybrid and Teams for remote.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead the end-to-end technical design of Sales Cloud implementations, ensuring scalable and maintainable architecture.
- 2Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce architectural blueprints.
- 3Design and oversee Apex development, Lightning Web Components, and integrations with external systems.
- 4Drive the adoption of Salesforce best practices, including data modeling, security, and governor limits.
- 5Own the technical roadmap for the Salesforce ecosystem, aligning with business goals and long-term stability.
- 6Mentor developers and technical teams, promoting code quality and architectural consistency.
- 7Conduct code reviews and enforce standards for Salesforce development, including Apex and Visualforce.
- 8Design and implement integration strategies using REST and SOAP APIs.
- 9Ensure compliance with Salesforce security model, including profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
- 10Deliver architectural documentation and present designs to leadership for approval.
Requirements9
- 15+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or Architect, with a focus on Sales Cloud.
- 23+ years in a lead architect role, designing scalable Salesforce solutions.
- 3Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect or System Architect (strongly preferred).
- 4Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
- 5Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and governor limits.
- 6Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- 7Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate business needs into technical designs.
- 8Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins) and Salesforce DX.
- 9Excellent communication and documentation skills.
