Lead Product Manager, Campus Networking
Overview
You will own the product strategy and roadmap for autonomous networking across campus, branch, and cloud-managed platforms at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, serving thousands of enterprise customers. You will collaborate with engineering, architecture, and go-to-market teams to embed AI and automation into networking products. This role offers direct engagement with customers and hands-on prototyping, setting it apart from traditional product management. What You'll Do9
- 1Define the product strategy and roadmap for autonomous networking capabilities across campus, branch, and data center environments.
- 2Engage directly with enterprise customers and partners to capture operational challenges and translate them into product requirements.
- 3Drive the integration of AI and automation into networking products to simplify operations and reduce manual intervention.
- 4Partner with engineering and architecture teams on tradeoffs, design decisions, and implementation plans.
- 5Use customer telemetry and analytics to prioritize features and validate product success.
- 6Develop business cases and go-to-market strategies for new networking offerings.
- 7Prototype concepts using AI-assisted development tools to validate ideas rapidly.
- 8Represent the company at industry events as a thought leader in autonomous networking.
- 9Monitor competitive landscape and emerging technologies to identify market opportunities.
Requirements9
- 18+ years in product management for networking products, including wired and wireless solutions.
- 2Deep understanding of campus and branch networking, network security, and cloud-managed platforms.
- 3Hands-on experience deploying or troubleshooting enterprise network environments.
- 4Proven skill in crafting product strategies from customer insights and market data.
- 5Experience collaborating with technical engineering teams to influence product design.
- 6Strong analytical and communication skills for executive presentations.
- 7Familiarity with AIOps, machine learning, or automation frameworks.
- 8Preferred: experience building AI-powered or self-healing infrastructure solutions.
- 9Preferred: knowledge of modern cloud platforms and SaaS networking.
