What You'll Do8
- 1Design and deliver engaging lessons using the Wonder of Learning program to foster developmental growth
- 2Maintain safe nurturing inclusive classrooms aligned with licensing standards
- 3Communicate regularly with families about child progress and daily activities
- 4Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play to ensure health and safety compliance
- 5Assess and document learning outcomes to guide instruction and share insights with families
- 6Collaborate with assistant teachers and resource staff to build a cohesive team
- 7Model positive guidance strategies to support social-emotional development
- 8Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching effectiveness
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma required with associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- 2Child Development Associate certification preferred along with state-required pre-service training
- 31-2 years of experience working with young children in licensed settings
- 4Ability to lift 50 pounds safely
- 5Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children families and faculty
