What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver exceptional massage treatments to guests, maintaining a hands-on presence and modeling the highest standards of care.
- 2Manage all massage scheduling and therapist coordination, ensuring efficient appointment flow and meeting guest needs.
- 3Oversee daily operations of the massage department, including room readiness, supply inventory, and seamless service execution.
- 4Train, mentor, and coach massage therapists, developing their skills to uphold luxury service standards.
- 5Create and refine massage protocols and treatment standards, ensuring consistency and guest satisfaction across the team.
- 6Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to continuously elevate the massage experience.
- 7Collaborate with spa leadership to grow the massage department, contributing to strategic planning and service expansion.
- 8Support front desk operations during non-treatment hours, welcoming guests and assisting with reception duties.
Requirements7
- 15+ years of professional massage therapy experience, with a valid state license.
- 22+ years in a leadership or management role within a spa or wellness setting, with proven ability to train and mentor staff.
- 3Expertise in multiple massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone) and a commitment to ongoing education.
- 4Strong organizational and communication skills, with a detail-oriented approach to scheduling and inventory management.
- 5Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and lead by example, maintaining accountability and consistency.
- 6Flexibility to remain available by phone outside of standard hours for urgent operational matters.
- 7Passion for luxury hospitality and delivering extraordinary guest experiences.
