- 2Provide direct lactation assessment and intervention to mother-baby dyads
- 3Develop and evaluate lactation orientation programs for clinical staff
- 4Assess and support staff competency related to lactation care
- 5Organize prenatal and postpartum patient education classes
- 6Coordinate outpatient lactation education and resources
- 7Oversee Human Donor Milk processes and ensure regulatory compliance
- 8Lead initiatives for Baby-Friendly designation maintenance
- 9Collect and analyze infant feeding practice data
- 10Serve as clinical resource for staff and families regarding lactation concerns
- 11Apply sound clinical judgment and prioritize patient-care needs
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing
- 2Current New York State Registered Nurse license
- 3International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification
- 4American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- 5Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
- 65+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 7Strong knowledge of nursing and lactation practices
- 8Ability to collect and analyze breastfeeding quality data
- 9Experience managing Human Donor Milk programs
- 10Previous lead or coordinator experience in lactation services
