Seeking a Lead Glazier to build a core team for commercial glazing projects across Central Ohio. What You'll Do10
- 1Lead and supervise glazing crews on commercial construction projects
- 2Read and interpret blueprints shop drawings and project specifications
- 3Coordinate daily work activities to ensure projects are completed safely efficiently and on schedule
- 4Install curtain wall systems storefronts entrances architectural aluminum glass mirrors automatic doors and related glazing systems
- 5Measure cut fabricate and install glass and aluminum framing systems
- 6Ensure all installations are plumb level watertight and meet quality standards
- 7Operate and maintain hand tools power tools lifts scaffolding and other equipment safely
- 8Mentor and train apprentices and less experienced glaziers
- 9Maintain OSHA compliance and promote a safe work environment
- 10Communicate effectively with project managers foremen contractors and customers
Requirements9
- 1Minimum five years of lead commercial glazing experience preferred
- 2Proven experience installing storefront curtain wall and architectural aluminum systems
- 3Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- 4Strong leadership communication and problem solving skills
- 5Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices
- 6Basic glazing hand tools proficiency
- 7Reliable transportation ability to travel throughout Central Ohio area
- 8Pass a pre employment drug screen
- 9Commitment to professionalism teamwork and quality craftsmanship
Salary Insight
