Overview
We seek a Lead Data & Solutions Architect to design and modernize enterprise data ecosystems enabling AI and analytics. This role drives cloud-native data platforms using Databricks AWS Azure and supports data governance and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions for healthcare data initiatives.
What You'll Do11
- 1Define and maintain enterprise-wide data architecture standards principles and governance frameworks
- 2Lead design and implementation of scalable cloud-native data platforms using Databricks AWS Azure
- 3Architect and oversee batch streaming and real-time data pipelines for analytics AI and operational use cases
- 4Partner with business product and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into data solutions
- 5Design lakehouse architectures enterprise data lakes and data warehouses
- 6Enable self-service data and analytics capabilities through data modeling metadata management and lineage
- 7Drive automation of data workflows orchestration monitoring and operational support
- 8Ensure data security privacy compliance and governance across all platforms
- 9Collaborate with cybersecurity legal and compliance teams to implement controls for regulated data
- 10Guide cloud strategy across AWS and Azure environments focusing on scalability reliability and cost optimization
- 11Mentor data engineers and architects conduct architecture reviews and evaluate emerging technologies
Requirements15
- 18+ years of experience in data architecture solution architecture or data engineering
- 25+ years designing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms
- 3Deep hands-on experience with Databricks including Delta Lake Unity Catalog Spark PySpark and Lakehouse Architecture
- 4Strong expertise with AWS services such as S3 Glue IAM Redshift Lambda Kinesis and Lake Formation
- 5Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services like ADLS Azure Data Factory Synapse Key Vault and Microsoft Purview
- 6Proficiency in SQL and Python
- 7Experience implementing data governance security compliance encryption access controls monitoring and auditing frameworks
- 8Bachelor's degree in computer science information systems engineering data science or related field
- 9Healthcare medical device pharmaceutical payer provider or healthcare technology experience preferred
- 10Familiarity with EMR/EHR platforms and healthcare data standards including FHIR and HL7
- 11Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka Spark Structured Streaming
- 12Knowledge of MLOps AI governance and modern AI platform architectures
- 13Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Databricks Certified Professional
- 14Experience operating in regulated environments supporting HIPAA compliance
- 15Global matrixed organizational experience
