Lead Data Management Engineer - SAP ILM & Archiving
Overview
Build and lead data archiving and information lifecycle management solutions for enterprise clients, owning the design and delivery of complex technology transformations. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers and data architects to modernize data platforms and drive innovation. Work with SAP ILM, JiVS IMP, and OpenText VIM to solve legacy-system decommissioning challenges. This role offers direct client engagement and the opportunity to shape data strategy at scale.
What You'll Do6
- 1Lead end-to-end delivery of data archiving and ILM projects, managing workstreams across distributed teams.
- 2Design and implement cloud and hybrid data architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP for data lifecycle management.
- 3Drive retention management and data integrity initiatives, ensuring compliance and system performance.
- 4Manage stakeholder relationships, aligning technical delivery with business objectives for client engagements.
- 5Oversee quality of deliverables, reviewing solutions and providing hands-on technical guidance.
- 6Support practice growth by developing proposals, creating thought leadership, and coaching junior consultants.
Requirements8
- 18+ years in data archiving and information lifecycle management, with client-facing consulting experience.
- 26+ years hands-on with SAP ILM, SAP Data Archiving, JiVS IMP, OpenText VIM, and e-invoicing.
- 32+ years leading complex technology engagements, including managing resources across locations.
- 4Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- 5Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on client and industry needs.
- 6Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- 7Proven track record of delivering client workshops and interactive sessions with effective collateral.
- 8Strong presentation skills for both large and small audiences.

$134 - $265k per year
