Lead Data Management Engineer, SAP ILM & Archiving
Overview
You will lead the design and delivery of data archiving and information lifecycle management solutions for enterprise clients, owning complex transformations from strategy to execution. Working within Deloitte's AI & Engineering team, you'll manage key workstreams, collaborate with distributed teams, and drive client outcomes at scale. What You'll Do7
- 1Lead design and delivery for client engagements in SAP ILM and Data Archiving, owning end-to-end solution architecture.
- 2Drive cloud and hybrid data architecture decisions, implementing migration approaches across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- 3Direct day-to-day stakeholder relationships, aligning technical delivery with business and program objectives.
- 4Oversee team deliverables, ensuring quality across distributed teams while contributing hands-on to solution builds.
- 5Coach junior practitioners and develop practice assets, including proposals and thought leadership.
- 6Design retention management and data integrity strategies, optimizing system performance and enabling legacy-system decommissioning.
- 7Implement OpenText VIM and JiVS IMP solutions, integrating with SAP ecosystems for e-invoicing and document management.
Requirements9
- 18+ years in Data Archiving and Information Lifecycle Management consulting, covering retention management, data integrity, system performance, and legacy decommissioning.
- 26+ years hands-on with SAP ILM, SAP Data Archiving, JiVS IMP, OpenText VIM, and e-invoicing.
- 32+ years leading complex technology engagements end-to-end, coordinating resources across multiple locations.
- 4Bachelor's degree required.
- 5Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on client needs.
- 6Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- 7Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- 8Client-facing consulting delivery experience, creating workshop collateral and leading interactive sessions.
- 9Strong presentation skills for large and small audiences.
Salary Insight
$134 - $265k per year
