What You'll Do25
- 1Lead and supervise bartenders during daily service
- 2Train coach mentor and onboard new bartenders
- 3Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities
- 4Create weekly bartender schedules and assist with labor planning
- 5Assist management with interviewing hiring onboarding and evaluating bar staff
- 6Foster a positive professional team-oriented work environment
- 7Hold team members accountable for company standards service expectations and policies
- 8Deliver exceptional hospitality and personalized guest service
- 9Prepare and serve handcrafted cocktails beer wine spirits mocktails and non-alcoholic beverages
- 10Maintain recipe consistency beverage quality and presentation standards
- 11Ensure the bar is fully stocked organized and service-ready before each shift
- 12Complete opening and closing procedures maintain cleanliness organization and sanitation
- 13Conduct weekly inventory counts monitor levels and communicate ordering needs
- 14Analyze beverage sales trends and recommend ways to improve profitability
- 15Collaborate with management to develop seasonal cocktails specialty beverages and promotions
- 16Recommend new spirits beers wines and premium products
- 17Stay current on beverage trends and industry best practices
- 18Ensure compliance with Illinois liquor laws and BASSET regulations verify guest identification and practice responsible alcohol service
- 19Maintain health sanitation and food safety regulations
- 20Build positive relationships with distributors and vendor representatives
- 21Assist with private events and special promotions
- 22Monitor guest feedback and online reviews related to bar service and recommend improvements
- 23Work closely with management and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- 24Assist on the dining room floor whenever needed
- 25Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall restaurant operations
Requirements12
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2BASSET Certification required
- 3Food Handler Certification preferred
- 4At least 1 year of bartending experience in a restaurant bar or cocktail lounge
- 5Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred
- 6Knowledge of classic and modern cocktails spirits beer and wine
- 7Strong leadership communication and customer service skills
- 8Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- 9Experience with inventory management is a plus
- 10Experience using POS systems
- 11Physical ability to stand walk lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- 12Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays
