You will conduct legal research, draft and file documents, and assist with depositions and negotiations within a structured school-year program serving 2026-2027. What You'll Do10
- 1Build research briefs and analyze case law to support arguments
- 2Draft and file affidavits, petitions, pleadings, and supporting papers
- 3Prepare correspondence and organize exhibits for court appearances
- 4Take witness statements and assist with depositions
- 5Assist with negotiation, mediation, and arbitration sessions
- 6Maintain and organize tangible evidence and exhibits for trials
- 7Attend meetings as required and report findings to the attorney
- 8Contribute to trial preparation and case strategy
- 9Support other clerical and administrative tasks as requested
- 10Ensure accurate deposition and court document preparation within jurisdiction rules

- 1Must be based in Houston, Texas
- 2Enrolled to receive Juris Doctorate
- 3Strong understanding of law, court procedures, and jurisdiction rules
- 4Superior verbal and written communication skills
- 5Excellent research and analytical skills
- 6Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic
- 7Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- 8Physical ability to sit for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds
- 9Onsite role with school-year schedule
- 10Availability for the 2026-2027 School-Year Clerkship Program
