What You'll Do11
- 1Set up and operate Mazak laser machines to cut sheet metal parts according to production specifications
- 2Operate Accupress and Absolute press brakes to form and bend sheet metal components accurately
- 3Load sheet metal onto machines safely and efficiently ensuring correct material selection
- 4Cut side panels and laser out parts following job orders and programmed layouts
- 5Monitor pending materials to ensure continuous availability minimizing downtime
- 6Perform deburring of cut and formed parts to meet quality standards
- 7Identify and handle different metal materials for laser press brake plasma table or water jet operations
- 8Assist with basic fabrication tasks to support production output
- 9Follow safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
- 10Maintain clean organized work area around equipment
- 11Report equipment issues promptly to support maintenance and quality
Requirements11
- 12–5 years experience operating press brake metal shop laser plasma table or water jet
- 2Hands-on experience setting up and running forming programs
- 3Experience with laser equipment in metal shop environment
- 4Ability to identify metal materials load programs set up and run plasma table
- 5Experience operating water jet with metal materials
- 6Proficiency in sheet metal handling fabrication processes
- 7Deburring skills for metal parts
- 8Comfort working with laser machines press brakes turret punch presses forklifts
- 9Strong attention to detail following technical instructions
- 10Experience with Mazak laser machines preferred
- 11Accupress and Absolute press brakes experience beneficial
