Overview
Join Lawn Impressions, a Columbus-based landscape company with 20+ years in the industry, as a crew member or leader. You will own turf and landscape projects across residential and commercial sites, working with updated trucks and equipment. Our team has many members with 10-20 years of tenure, and we are expanding after acquiring a lawn care brand, creating immediate openings. This role offers weekly pay, PTO after the first season, and a family-friendly atmosphere where your reliability and professionalism matter.
What You'll Do8
- 1Mow and maintain lawns using company trucks and mowers, ensuring clean, precise cuts on assigned routes.
- 2Lead a crew in daily landscaping tasks, from paver patios to clean outs, coordinating with team members and clients.
- 3Operate and care for mowing equipment and hand tools, reporting any maintenance needs to supervisors.
- 4Drive company vehicles safely, following all traffic laws and maintaining a clean driving record.
- 5Communicate professionally with customers, answering questions and addressing concerns on-site.
- 6Complete each job within scheduled timeframes, meeting quality standards on every property.
- 7Support lawn care and pest control services as needed, cross-training across our diverse offerings.
- 8Keep the job site tidy, loading and unloading equipment and materials efficiently.
Requirements8
- 1Valid and clean driver's license (required for all positions, especially leaders).
- 2Reliable transportation to arrive on time, in provided uniform, with closed-toe shoes or boots.
- 31+ years of landscape or outdoor work experience preferred, but we train motivated candidates.
- 4Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- 5Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a professional demeanor around customers.
- 6Leadership experience (for crew leader roles) in directing small teams on job sites.
- 7Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- 8Willingness to work a seasonal schedule, with PTO accruing after the first season.
