What You'll Do11
- 1Perform venipuncture and provide post-care of phlebotomy sites
- 2Collect specimens and process them safely and professionally
- 3Maintain positive patient identification during all procedures

- 5Follow strict SOPs and adhere to infection control protocols
- 6Communicate effectively with patients physicians and staff

Requirements5
- 1High School diploma or GED required
- 2Completion of a Phlebotomy Medical Assistant program or equivalent
- 33 years of work experience in phlebotomy or medical assisting
- 4Certification from ASCP AMT or NHA with one year clinical experience
- 5Familiarity with lifespan growth and development and medical terminology
Salary Insight
