Place Showroom’s Internship program offers industry experience and college credit for qualified candidates. Selected participants will engage in diverse projects within the showroom and collaborate with key organization members to gain comprehensive business insights. What You'll Do11
- 1Monitor and track inventory of samples
- 2Work alongside team for completion of order confirmations and all order maintenance
- 3Market Preparation book and confirm appointments for upcoming market weeks and shows
- 4Maintain the appearance of the showroom before during and after appointments
- 5Unpack steam and merchandise each collection according delivery to ensure proper presentation
- 6Participate in showroom appointments and assist Sales Reps with order note-taking according to delivery and designer
- 7Learn database programs Showroom Exchange NuOrder and Joor to create line sheets place orders and create notes for buyers
- 8Perform daily administrative tasks such as organization filing and ordering supplies when necessary
- 9Track and monitor sales through excel spreadsheets
- 10Send samples to buyers and LA sales reps when necessary
- 11Participate in fashion trade shows and booth set upbreakdown
