Manage kennel operations at Community Veterinary Partners in Baltimore part-time weekend shifts. This role involves independent task execution with guidance from supervisors. What You'll Do9
- 1Feed water and walk all pet hotel guests
- 2Assist team members and departments when needed
- 3Bathe pets and maintain cleanliness in boarding areas
- 4Clean cages runs and sanitize facilities regularly
- 5Perform scheduled washing and drying of towels and bedding
- 6Sweep mop all kennel areas and empty trash
- 7Report medical issues of boarding patients to veterinary staff
- 8Follow facility policies and OSHA regulations
- 9Maintain safe environment for clients pets and colleagues
Requirements7
- 15+ years experience with animal handling and sanitation
- 2Ability to lift pets under 50lbs ten times daily
- 3Strong physical stamina for extended work periods
- 4Familiarity with fecal matter and chemical cleaning procedures
- 5Commitment to client communication regarding patient status
- 6Experience with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup tasks
- 7Knowledge of proper kennel maintenance protocols
