As a Junior Business Analyst, you will own requirements gathering and documentation for a high-visibility federal program. What You'll Do7
- 1Gather and document requirements for the platform using Jira and Confluence.
- 2Draft user stories and acceptance criteria for the product backlog.
- 3Maintain backlog items and requirements documentation, ensuring alignment with Agile practices.
- 4Facilitate meetings, capture notes, and track action items.
- 5Prepare UAT scenarios and test data to validate feature functionality.
- 6Use AI-assisted tools to streamline documentation and analysis tasks.
- 7Support senior analysts in delivery activities, including sprint planning and reviews.
Requirements8
- 11+ years of business analysis or related experience.
- 2Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a 7-year background check for a U.S. Government Clearance.
- 3Willing to work a hybrid schedule (4 days) in Reston, VA and client locations in the Washington D.C. area.
- 4Strong written communication and organizational skills.
- 5Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and Agile concepts.
- 6Ability to prioritize, self-start, and adapt as priorities shift.
- 7Interest in AI-assisted analysis tools.
- 8Federal IT exposure is preferred.
