What You'll Do7
- 1Install inspect troubleshoot repair residential and commercial electrical systems using hand tools power tools and testing equipment such as ohmmeters
- 2Read and interpret electrical blueprints schematics wiring diagrams and technical manuals to execute precise work
- 3Perform electrical diagnostics identify issues within complex residential systems and implement effective solutions
- 4Conduct wiring installations safely following all safety procedures and regulations
- 5Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to integrate electrical systems
- 6Maintain documentation of work performed and adhere to local electrical codes
- 7Lead small projects independently while supporting senior technicians
Requirements7
- 1Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification demonstrating proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work
- 2Extensive experience troubleshooting complex electrical issues and performing repairs
- 3Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards NEC regulations and local electrical codes
- 4Proficiency in reading electrical schematics blueprints wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- 5Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters
- 6Ability to operate power tools safely in construction site environments
- 7Prior construction site experience with residential projects preferred
