
IT Security Specialist, SCCM & Network Protection
Overview
You will own the security posture of DRC data, systems, and networks, safeguarding against breaches and ensuring compliance. You will design and maintain enterprise SCCM/MECM patching strategies for Windows endpoints and servers. Reporting to the IT Security Manager, you will collaborate with the infrastructure team to harden systems and respond to incidents. This full-time remote role offers direct impact on security operations and Microsoft ecosystem optimization.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and enforce security measures to protect DRC data, systems, and networks, including firewall policies and access controls.
- 2Detect and respond to system or network security breaches, minimizing impact and documenting findings.
- 3Design and maintain enterprise SCCM/MECM patching strategies for Windows endpoints and servers.
- 4Create and manage SCCM device collections, deployment groups, and maintenance windows to ensure timely updates.
- 5Monitor security alerts and vulnerability reports, prioritizing and remediating risks.
- 6Implement and manage encryption protocols for data at rest and in transit.
- 7Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses.
- 8Develop and update incident response plans and runbooks.
- 9Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into system architecture.
Requirements7
- 13+ years in IT security, with hands-on experience in threat detection and incident response.
- 2Proven expertise in deploying and managing SCCM or MECM for enterprise patching.
- 3Strong knowledge of Windows server and endpoint security hardening.
- 4Experience with firewall, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools (e.g., Azure Sentinel).
- 5Familiarity with Microsoft security products including Defender and Entra ID.
- 6Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively via Microsoft Teams.
- 7Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or Microsoft security certifications preferred.
