What You'll Do8
- 1Answer the IT Help Desk phone line and walk-up requests
- 2Create work orders and provide technical support for hardware software and network issues
- 3Support Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications
- 4Assist with workstation deployments upgrades and equipment replacements
- 5Provide training on technology best practices to end users
- 6Collaborate with full-time IT staff on projects and system rollouts
- 7Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions
- 8Follow city IT policies cybersecurity standards and confidentiality requirements
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or GED required
- 2Associate degree or technical certification in Information Technology Computer Science or related field preferred
- 3Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware software networking concepts and Microsoft products
- 4Valid Texas driver's license for travel
- 5Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied environments
- 6Strong oral and written communication skills
- 7Willingness to learn new technologies and procedures
